This summer the district changed providers for emergency school & weather notifications for a more reliable and quicker message delivery to our families.
Federal law and cell phone carriers now require you to "opt in" to receive these kinds of messages and verify that you do indeed wish to get them.
On Friday August 31st at 5:00pm, we will send a mass notification to all NCSD families to opt-in to our messages. This message will come from a number similar to 67587. You just need to reply to that text message with a Y to confirm that you wish to subscribe. As always, please log into your PowerSchool parent portal to keep your number up to date so we can reach you!
If you have any questions, please contact Joe Wakeman, Director of Technology, at 515-382-2783.

Teacher information will be available on PowerSchool beginning on Friday, August 10th. Classmate information will be sent home by teachers on the first day of school to students in each classroom.
