With all of the uncertainty of this year and what it may or may not look like this spring while also trying to provide students with as many educational opportunities as we can, we have decided to have virtual music concerts this year. What that means is that we will NOT be having evening concerts with an audience present. Instead we will prepare concert music and each class will have a time where students go to the auditorium to record their concert performance. This recording will then be shared on the music website and the school website for families to view. We will be having each class perform individually so that we are able to maintain social distancing recommendations. Each class will get approximately a 40 minute time slot to perform/record at the auditorium. After the editing process (within a week of the recording), the videos will be uploaded for your viewing pleasure. More information will come out closer to each individual concert's date. Concerts will be recorded on the following dates: Multiage: Week of March 8th - 12th 1st - 4th Grades: Week of April 12 - 16th Kindergarten: Week of May 24th - 28th If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email Mrs. Kenealy at email@example.com.
Due to the proclamation by Governor Reynolds, Middle School sports are suspended immediately. No practices, meets or games will take place Nov. 17 - Dec. 10. This affects Middle School girls basketball, cheerleading, wrestling, dance, Esports & weightlifting. Youth sports & adult recreational activities using school facilities are also suspended at this time. Sporting, recreational and other extracurricular gatherings sponsored by a high school, including practices, games, competitions, and performances are allowed with spectator limits (2 per participating athlete), spectator masks, and social distancing.
