David Kroese, current Building & Grounds Director of the Nevada Community School District, was recognized recently at a School Board meeting by Ray Reynolds for Dave’s support and dedication to the School during his career as he approaches retirement.

Ray Reynolds, Director of Nevada Fire and EMS and former inspector of schools for the State Fire Marshall’s Office presented Nevada Director of Building & Grounds Dave Kroese with a plaque of recognition and appreciation at the Monday April 20th NCSD School Board Meeting. Chief Reynolds shared that in his 12 years as Fire Chief in Nevada inspecting Nevada’s school buildings, Dave Kroese has been his his ‘go to’ person for building safety at NCSD. Reynolds stated, “safety takes effort and this [district] is easily the least amount of violations that I write and when I do, they are easily stopped and corrected. I know that Dave is retiring and I ask the School Board that his replacement should be just as diligent. Your school district is very safe throughout the years because of this person and his staff.”
Thank you, Dave, for a career of service to the community of Nevada and our kids!
