Nevada CSD Seeking Distinguished Alumni

The NCSD Hall of Honor has been established to recognize alumni who have distinguished themselves based upon academic excellence and achievement, career accomplishments, community service, personal excellence, and dedication to lifelong learning.

A candidate will be considered for induction ten years after graduating from Nevada, Fernald, Milford, or Shipley High Schools.  A candidate must have made distinguished contributions and achieved outstanding recognition in his or her career or education.  Candidates will be selected by the Nevada Foundation.

Nominations are due to the Superintendent’s Office by April 15, 2024.

Nevada High School Drama is proud to present this year's fall play, Peter and the Starcatcher! Tony-winning Peter and the Starcatcher upends the century-old story of how a miserable orphan comes to be The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up (a.k.a. Peter Pan). A wildly theatrical adaptation of Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson’s best-selling novels, the play was conceived for the stage by directors, Roger Rees and Alex Timbers, and written by Rick Elice, with music by Wayne Barker. From marauding pirates and jungle tyrants to unwilling comrades and unlikely heroes, Peter and the Starcatcher playfully explores the depths of greed and despair... and the bonds of friendship, duty and love. Tickets can be purchased online at this link. Performances: Saturday, November 5th at 7:00pm; Sunday, November 6th at 1:30pm.  

We will greet Freshman and New Students at orientation on Monday, August 22nd at 10:00am in the Gym! Come to get your schedule, walk through the building, try out your locker, and ask any questions you may have about the upcoming school year!
