In providing the education program of the District, the Board shall strive to meet its overall goal
of providing the students an opportunity to develop a healthy social, intellectual, emotional, and
physical self‐concept in a learning environment that provides guidance to and encourages
critical thinking in the students for a lifetime. The ultimate goal is for each student to acquire the
universal constructs which are essential for 21st Century success.

In striving to meet universal constructs, the objectives of the education program will be to
provide students with the universal constructs of:

  • Critical thinking
  • Complex communication
  • Creativity
  • Collaboration
  • Flexibility and Adaptability
  • Productivity and Accountability
