To review the funds and accounts of the District, the Board will employ an auditor to perform an annual audit of the financial affairs of the District. The Board Secretary will use a request for proposal procedure in selecting an auditor. The administration will cooperate with the auditors.
A bid process will be organized by the Board Secretary to determine the auditing agency to perform the District audit for a period of three (3) years to be approved by the Board. The contract will include an escape clause for the District until January 1 for the preceding fiscal year audit.
