The superintendent will evaluate the members of the management team, the Board Secretary, Director of Building & Grounds/Transportation, Director of Technology, Food Service Director, and Director of the Community Resource Center, on their skills, abilities, and competence.  At a minimum, the superintendent will formally evaluate the members of the management team annually. The evaluation is completed by the superintendent, signed by the manager and filed in the manager’s personnel file.  The goal of the formal evaluation process is to promote professional growth, enhanced management leadership, clarify the manager’s role, communicate immediate priorities, and develop a working relationship between the superintendent and the manager.

The superintendent is responsible for designing a manager evaluation process.  Job descriptions will be used as the basis for the formal evaluation process. The formal evaluation will include an opportunity for the managers and the superintendent to discuss the written criteria, the past year’s performance and the future areas of growth. The evaluation is completed by the superintendent, signed by the manager and filed in the manager’s personnel file.  The superintendent, after receiving input from the members of the management team, will present the formal evaluation process to the Board for approval.
